I had my resume walked at just the right time. The chief pilot called two
days later to offer an interview. I met with the Director of Operations,
Chief Pilot, and Director of Training. Standard questions of why I wanted
to work there, how I liked my last job, what my goals were and past experience.
No tech questions, no sim. The DO looked at my logbooks. They were looking
for at least 4000 hrs and B757 experience. Had the 4000 but no JET. They
told me that I may be called for B737 class to back fill those moving to
B757. A week passed and I was called to drug test and join the B757 class.
Great group of people willing to give a guy a chance. I have been in class
3 weeks and preparing to take my oral for my B757 type rating.

Pilot Interview Profile:
No interview.
Most of the pilots know each other from previous lives, including the DO
and
CP. Still the "good ole boy" type atmosphere. Nearly
all of the pilots are there because they knew someone, and were hired without
an interview.
