Flight Instructor

Base: KMHK
Manhattan, KS USA

Salary Range
$35,000-$50,000 per year

Company Information
GATTS, inc.

Company Profile
No profile information was provided.

GATTS, Inc., the pioneers in consecutive flight training, is looking for two (2), full-time, flight instructors to join our team. GATTS,Inc. is known worldwide for our 7-day Instrument course, 3-Day Commercial course and more. Instructors work one-on-one with their students, one student with one instructor for the duration of the training. 90% of what we do is single engine, instrument and commercial training. There is NO primary flight instruction. Instructors fly 70-100 hours per month. Most of our customers bring their own aircraft to train in, so you have the opportunity to build time in many makes and models, with varied avionics.

Instructors are paid by the day and average 20-25 days per month. We offer flexible time off as well. Instructors receive their pay at the end of each month. All GATTS instructors are 1099 contractors and receive their full earnings (no withholding of taxes as with a W2 employee).

This is a laid back environment where we do not micromanage our people. You have the opportunity to actually make a living while building usable time, in a multitude of different aircraft quickly.

GATTS Inc. is located in Manhattan, Ks., which is 120 miles straight west of Kansas City. It is also the home of Kansas State University. Also, close by is Fort Riley, which is the home of the 1st. Infantry Division. Manhattan is approximately 50,000 in population but has a small-town feel.

We are looking for individuals that have a CFII but would consider training the right individual that currently holds only a CFI certificate, to obtain their CFII.

This is a unique opportunity for the right individuals. Build quality time, fly many, different aircraft and make a living all at the same time!

Pay range $35,000-$50,000 per year

Must hold at least FAA CFI
