Interview and Sim Prep

Guys,

Seems like there is a lot of talk about how good interview preps and simulator preps are. There are talks of Judy Tarver, Higher Power, and ALTEON with Jack O'Dell. I haven't had much luck getting info on these companies or people, i.e. where are they located? Do they have a website, how much, etc?

Any intel out there?

Try Emerald Coast Interview Prep. You can find it via google. Average of appx 85% hire rate.

Yeah right. I paid one of those persons ($500 is the avg fee) and they sat and asked me the same friggin questions that were posted on this site! we then went to a beat up frasca sim at a local airport and i flew from vor to vor then an ILS approach. I know someone else who admitted to the sham as well. Just more people who are making $ off of someone who wants to fly. By the way, when you see people talking it up on here...it's probably their own sham company. you can try it but you will see........

It depends what company you use of course. A good one is Simuprep (simuprep.com) in the Cincinnati area. I've known several individuals have great success there. It is reasonably priced and they use large aircraft sims.

There are several interview companies that can help, and usually they are of great help before an interview. Just geting you to talk out loud and critiquing your stories is huge before an interview.

I went for prep at Capital Airline Consulting (capitalairlineconsulting.com) and they have a great program. Judy Tarver is also pretty well known.

Just my 2 cents.

Another good company is Capital Airline Consulting (capitalairlineconsulting.com). I think they are based in Washington DC.

I know Judy Tarver and Higher Power are affiliated in some way. I think they offer a discount program for eachother or something. I remember meeting them both at FlightOps job fair last October.
They are both located at DFW. Just google them.
