Hello all,

Are there any Beech 1900 drivers out there? What should I pre-read before going to ground school? Is the aircraft difficult to fly? Any other things I should know would be great.

Sound off!

The Beech 1900 is easy to fly. Like a big 172. When powering up for takeoff, the engines may not spool up at the same rate. Hold the brakes and match the torque indicators then squeeze the thottles and leave them offset. The D model is much easier to fly than the older B or C models. Torque setting will give you airspeed, 1800 pounds will be 180 knots.

Not much to study, very good airplane to start on....
