Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the flight time to get hired with Citation Shares as quick as possible. I have several friends working there that are all really happy. The company seems like a great place to work. I have my ATP with 3000 total time and 1000 multi but no turbine time. Any recommendations for getting turbine time quick? Currently I am working for a 135 cargo company flying Cessna 402s single pilot and enjoy it. I've been trying to avoid the airlines because I don't think I'd like the lifestyle. Any suggestions on what I should do?

If you go work for any of the las vegas-grand canyon operators you will build turbine time very quickly. Expect about 1000-1100 hours in a year. Crappy pay and long hours come with it though. Try to get hired as a captain and life will be a lot easier. With your total time you have a pretty good shot.

Well they are going to want to know what the heck you have been doing for those 3000hrs. Go to the airlines and suck it up for a year. Citation Shares are going to want to see MULTI TURBINE time. Spend a year and get 700-1000 hours and you are all set. Plus the training is good and it will get you ready for your next job. Flying the canyon doesnt really give you the experience you will want. I flew for a regional carier for less than a year now I got a good corporate job. So dont waiste any more time!

good luck

Oh, cant all your friends that fly for them help you out? Did you ask them how they got their hours?Talk to them for sure.
