I'm doing research on a couple of airlines I may want to interview with. Has anyone worked for Lynx Air or know anything about the airline? Thanks!

I just had an interview with Greg from Lynx Air based out of Ft. lauderdale on 6/10/2008. He said that Lynx has 16 pilots and looking for more. Pilots will get 80hrs a month but most pilots get 110 hrs a month. Also has a Saab 340 by the hanger and will put it in use soon. Only has one Saab though. He wants to have a new class date by the 16th of June and be prepared to pay 5000 for training and get reimbursed during the second year of training. Flight training is done in the Metro sim in St.louis not Texas. you need to pay for your own plane ticket and hotel when you go for the 7 day sim experience in St. louis. If you have an instrument rating he prefers you have an abudance of actual. More of an informal type interview says he does not like the MDA or instrument type questions just wanrs to know if other pilots can sit next to you for long periods of time and that you are a hard worker.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply regarding your interview with Lynx Air. I really appreciate it. Were you offered the position? If so, how do you like it, so far? I recently sent my resume and I'm waiting to hear back. If you have the inside scoop, that would be awesome!

Thanks again for your response, it was definitely helpful!

Take care,
George
