Hey,

Anyone know of any cargo, sight-seeing or 135 ops from Belize to St Thomas? Or does anyone have a favorite website to look for opporunities in the Carrib? I'm a 1200 pilot with twin otter and DC-3 time.

yeah i am currently residing in puerto rico and i know for a fact that a company called four star was recently bought out and the new management is subsequently restructuring. I went there looking after a job and they told me to pound sand unless i had a dc-3 type. I don't, so the sand i pound. There is also a company in st. thomas called seaborne flying dhc 6's on wheels and floats. They are expanding and were hiring pilots in 2008 they are worth a try. where did you get the dc-3 and dhc 6 experience?

good luck,

Thanks.... I paid for my dc-3 type out of Atlanta, GA. Just something I always wanted to do. Check-out the DC-3 network on the web. Otter time? A long time ago I flew for a jumping school in FL. Their closed, now. If you don't mind me asking, how safe is PR? My wife and I started looking at houses on the web and noticed waterfront homes with fences / barbed wire on the beach. Is PR safe? I love Old SJ. I'll do my homework and may apply at Four Star in late June. I'm 300 hrs short to be seriously considered at Seaborne. Thanks for any insight about PR.

Have you had any communication with Four Star lately? Two of my friends who got their DC-3 type ratings from Dan Gryder were flying with him at the Columbus air show this past weekend. I was thinking about doing my ATP in conjunction with his type course and hitting up those guys at Four Star. Any info would be appreciated. Also, have you hit up Trans-Northern in Alaska? They operate DC-3's and might be interested in hearing from you once you hit ATP minimums.
