The plane towed a banner poking fun of Tiger Woods' sex scandal. The FAA will investigate if the pilot and the company had proper credentials to operate a banner in that area. The investigation will not involve what was said on the banner because, "the FAA does not regulate messages on the banners, period. The FAA's role is related to aviation safety," says Dathleen Bergen, an FAA spokesman.

The plane displayed two banners at different times. The first banner read: "Tiger: Did you mean Bootyism?" The second banner read: "Sex addict? Yeah. Right. Sure. Me too."
