I've heard that polarized sunglasses are generally not good for flying because of two reasons:
1: In glass cockpits I won't be able to see the screens well.
2: Airplanes' windshields are already polarized.
The first reason doesn't concern me since I won't be studying on a glass cockpit aircraft, nor will be using them later on (at least in the near future).
About the second one - I don't know.. This is probably true when speaking of Boeing's, but is this true for Cessna's as well? Are 172's and 152's windshields polarized? Since if they aren't - I will probably go for polarized sunglasses..
Thanks.
