Pilot Interview Profile:
Same as the June 2011 Post. Arrived, filled out easy paperwork. A simple application used for all employees at Sun Country. And a flight hours worksheet: I would recommend bringing a breakdown of your flight hours. Great friendly people. Make you feel relaxed. I interviewed with a panel of 4 operational managers and the HR representative. The questions they asked were very simple. Just questions you would really would expect from an airline pilot interview. No curve balls. It seems they really just want to see what kind of person you are and if you would fit in. They must imagine you can fly a plane. Really a quick day at their facility. Hotel is on your own for anyone inquiring about that.

Filed out some basic application paperwork then interviewed with 5 people all at once. Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Head of HR, Executive secretary, and one other. All HR type questions. No technical questions or Simulator ride. They need 6 pilots right away and a total of 30 over the next few months.

Pilot Interview Profile:
I interviewed in August 1999. Interviews were in groups of three or four
applicants. Starts out with a sim ride in a Frasca type sim. Single pilot,
fly a SID, a VOR approach to a miss, hold then a full ILS to a full stop.
Complete a basic IFR written test. Lunch at company expense with two or
three management types, then one on one interviews with an H/R type and also
the chief pilot. The usual why do you want to work here stuff, very little
in the way of technical questions. You pay for hotel (there is a hotel
within walking distance of the Sun Country HQ) My rejection letter came
about 2 weeks after the interview.
