Description
Our historic flight school is experiencing extremely high demand, with students on a waitlist. We currently have openings at our San Jose and Monterey, California, offices. The weather is great, the scenery is amazing, and our team of instructors are top-notch. We are looking for qualified instructors able to teach in Cessna 172, 172RG, Citabria, Decathlon, Husky, Arrow, and/or Twin Comanche. We have very high demand for sport, private, instrument, commercial and multi-engine instructors. We also train tailwheel, aerobatics and all instructor ratings.

Our flight instructors teach with us for their love of aviation, pilot family environment, BBQs, group events and flyouts. You determine your own schedule, fly as much as you want, and enjoy the perks of a 20% discount on rentals and training. Our full-time CFIs fly around 1000 hours per year, plus bill for ground instruction. Our part-time CFIs (airline and corporate pilots usually) fly as much or as little as they want. Pay begins at $28 for new CFIs, rises to $35 if you can teach tailwheel or instrument also, and jumps to $45 if you hold CFI, CFII, MEI and can teach tailwheel.

If you would like to further your instructor porfolio, we can train you for advanced types of instructing such as CFII, MEI, mountain flying, tailwheel, aerobatics and upset recovery. Browse our website for a list of locations, aircraft, events and our company’s history.

If you’d like to be part of our aviation family, send us a resume with teaching experience, flight hours, and details about yourself.
